i'm a sucker for childhood friends to lovers. they had a bunch of sweet moment in the manga and their care for each-other always makes me warm!!
princess x dragon is such a cool ship theme, kubo was so genius for that

2.) CHADHIME

sado "chad" yasutora x orihime inoue

you need to be so smart to understand the fucking vision. training buddies who always lift each-other up!!! chad always stuck up for orihime and i admired that paired with her cheerful personality!
i think they are the most silly cute ever and if you disagree... . =w=) heh

3.) ICHIHIME

ichigo kurosaki x orihime inoue

OKAY. they are so precious, say what you want about them i dont care. them trying and failing and trying to protect the other actually insane. the shared trauma, the found family, the coming together to fight as one at the end. it was beautiful, and poetic. the way their friendship blossomed was so sweet and i'm glad they found each-other at the end.

i wonder how someone can convey ideas like this. this oneshot is so well written i genuinely cant stop thinking about it. it’s one thing to be able to draw but communicating a feeling like this is on a whole other level. it’s like, the story really pulls you in. i’ve always admired authors for being able to do that.

tatsuki fujimoto's work is so insane and relatable it makes me ill. like i need to study his brain...

denji is one of the most refreshing and relatable protagonists i've seen in a while. he's really so well written and compelling, even in the off kilter world of csm you can feel and sympathize with all his problems. he bond he makes and loses within the story so nuanced and well fleshed out. even if it seems silly out of context his man vs. man/self/nature/society conflicts are very entertaining to witness week after week.

i think this series is what properly got me into animanga. she was so relatable to 5th grade me with her struggle of being seen one way but wanting to change! also how she couldnt settle on one aspect of herself, the was truly an icon.

one of the worlds most epic shojo manga. im so sad it doesnt have an english release but this is the blueprint-

i cant remember how i found this one tbh. i think i pressed random on a manga site and it popped up? either way i loved hinata as the mc, she was strong and cute and #silly. the prefect combo for a shojo mc. the relationship with en was cute too, and it was nice seeing the variety of lgbt characters in the story (it ended with a lesbian wedding! epic!)

so a level-current is one that looks unassuming on the outset but once you get pulled in it's hard to escape! ...or something like that. it was a very indulgent username but i guess it fits the account perfectly, huh?

let's see, i started playing this game near the start of 2020 and once the lockdown hit in march it was basically the main series i was drawing fanart for. i'd say it was maybe not my first self insert series but my favourite/ most popular one to draw for.

the characters are likeable but that's only bc theyve been burrowing into my mind for like 3 years atp. the story is. -anyways, a very fun series to s/i into all the characters are goofy as hell and i like drawing them ^w^)

I haven't watched such a fluffy show in a while! A seinen wrapped in a shoujo's clothes. I really enjoy following Mitsumi and experiencing her journey through high-school. She's very motivating to watch, and you can't help but root for her!

I finished watching skip and loafer and I have to say that it’s one of the most comfy anime of all time. mitsumi is one of the best protagonists and i really wish i was more into this manga when i was still going through school >.<)

Though a standout character was mika. I saw a lot of myself in her and it was refreshing to have her as a character who gets to learn and grow with the main cast instead of just being a one time villain. every girl was so relatable and i feel like i’ll hold this story in my heart for a while ^^)b

she is the best main character i've ever experienced.

i watched romantic killer drunk with friends over the course of a week long trip to montreal at the start of january2023 and it was one of the most fun i’ve had ever. we all got drunk and laughed and joked abt the plot and characters. a great time all around. i guess my memories from this anime are biased from that trip since i had so much fun.
